You are cordially invited to the YFLA's Annual General Meeting, followed by a gala dinner and dance featuring our favourite cover band Truly Medley Deeply, to bring the 2023/2024 membership year to a fitting close.
Like last year, the event will take place at Goodenough College’s beautiful hall, on Friday 27th September 2024. However, this time around you will have a whole hour more to enjoy the party - for the same price as last year!
Having listened to our members' feedback, we have extended the running time until midnight, which means more music and fun for all attendees, while keeping ticket prices at last year's levels. This has been made possible thanks to our generous sponsors: Johnson Law Group, Peters & Peters and Three Raymond Buildings.
Tickets are strictly limited and available to purchase in advance through our website. Tickets are £105 for current YFLA members and £135 for non-member guests.
The evening will kick off with a sparkling reception at 6pm, followed by a sit-down three-course meal at 7pm. For the menu choices please see below. It should be a great evening, with plenty of opportunity to catch up with friends and peers, make new acquaintances, and, most importantly, let your hair down!
The dance floor will open after dinner with Truly Medley Deeply providing the entertainment (as is now tradition!). All the above is included in your ticket price, including drinks throughout the evening.
As always, black tie is encouraged but not compulsory. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Menu 1 (Meat/Fish):
Starter: Smoked salmon, kohlrabi remoulade, baby gem and chive crème fraiche
Main: Slow braised beef cheek, roasted parsnip, dauphinoise potato, soft stem broccoli, beef cheek jus
Dessert: Chocolate cake, crème fraiche and cherries with a chocolate crumble (V)
Menu 2 (Vegetarian):
Starter: Heritage tomato salad and boccocini tart with basil dressing (V)
Main: Pan roasted turmeric parsnip, chickpea dahl, hot mint sauce, chickpea fritters and coconut raita (VG)
Dessert: Chocolate cake, crème fraiche and cherries with a chocolate crumble (V)
